A consensus three-star running back coming out of high school, Ellison is one of three running backs to join the Georgia Tech program as part of the 2019 recruiting class. He joins Tony Amerson and Jamious Griffin as part of a three-headed monster the Jackets were able to lock up on the recruiting trail this past recruiting cycle.
Despite not being incredibly highly rated during his high school career at Bartram Trail High School in St. John’s Florida, Ellison had a tremendous high school football career that saw him set multiple school records. According to his Georgia Tech profile, Ellison while at Bartram Trail set school records in rushing yards (3,345) and rushing touchdowns (45).
