Georgia Tech Football Countdown to Kickoff: No.16 DB Myles Sims

Former Michigan Wolverine, Myles Sims has returned to the 404 this past offseason and this time to stay. The Atlanta native and former Westlake High School standout transferred into the Georgia Tech football program this past offseason, becoming one of head coach Geoff Collins’s biggest recruiting wins at the time.

Coming out of high school, the Yellow Jackets never played a huge factor in Sims recruitment as he would commit to the Wolverines over other programs such as Alabama, Auburn, and Clemson. At the end of his recruitment, he was considered a top-200 player nationally in the 247Sports composite rankings as well as a top-20 cornerback and top-25 player in the state of Georgia.
