After a bad loss and bad press, Georgia Tech bears more bad news with announcement that wide receiver Ahmarean Brown has entered the transfer portal.
Brown was electric his freshman year with 21 catches for 396 yards and 7 touchdowns. The 7 touchdowns tied Calvin Johnson's school record for receiving touchdowns as a freshman.
This year Brown saw a reduction in targets and became less prominent as the primary deep threat. Some of that has been the emergence of Gibbs as a viable threat in the short passing game but for whatever reason the offense hasn't had many plays to take advantage of his speed.
