Billy Ward out of Locust Grove High School in Locust Grove, Georgia, has signed his Letter of Intent to Georgia Tech where he will continue his football and academic careers. Ward was one of the first verbal commits in the 2020 class along with fellow future teammate Tucker Gleason on March 7th, 2019. They both help kickstart the 2020 class, and will likely become a passing game connection in the Yellow Jackets offensive future.
Ward is a top-1000 player, ranked 914th nationally according to 24/7 Sports recruiting database. Ward is the second recruited Tight End out of high school under the Geoff Collins era, following Dylan Deveney late out of the 2019 recruiting class.
