We are sad to pass along here on this Monday afternoon, that Georgia Tech 2020 signee Bryce Gowdy has passed away. There are reports out there about his passing but out of respect to Bryce and his family, we wish not to share those with you at this time. That being said, Deerfield Beach Football confirmed the passing of Gowdy, simply known as “Simba” this early afternoon.
Gowdy by all reports was a great person both on and off the field. Someone who loved football but loved his family, friends, and teammates more. On the field, he was a tremendous talent and was set to potentially make a huge impact on The Flats next fall.
