Georgia Tech Football 2019 Season in Review: No.5 RB Jerry Howard

Believe it or not, Jerry Howard has already completed his junior season as a Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket. The oldest of Georgia Tech’s tailbacks saw his role diminished but still was a solid part of the Jackets offense.

Compared to his sophomore season in 2018, Howard had a very limited role for the Yellow Jackets. The junior out of Rock Hill, South Carolina only carried the ball 23 times throughout the season, matching his freshman total. With those 23 carries, Howard ran for 104-yards and no touchdowns. The 4.4 yards per carry was the lowest of his career on The Flats.
