After starting for the Jackets during the 2018 season, Tobias Oliver entered 2019 as one of the Jackets options as the starter in Geoff Collins first season. Oliver would be the first one to get the nod, getting a start against the Clemson Tigers but that would be his first and only start as the signal caller for the Jackets.
That being said, when you have a player as versatile as Oliver, you find different ways to put the ball in their hands. That’s exactly what the Yellow Jackets did with Oliver as the Georgia Tech coaching staff had Oliver line up at multiple positions throughout the season including running back, wide receiver, and kick returner.
