Georgia Tech Fans Can't Understand Lack Of Logic By The College Football Playoff Committee

Last week, the CFP rankings gave Virginia the top spot among ACC teams, but this week Georgia Tech found itself overlooked in favor of Miami.

Despite the Yellow Jackets holding some of the strongest odds to win the conference, the ACC continues to be viewed as a second-tier league by the selection committee.

College Football Playoff Selection Committee Chairman Mack Rhoades commented that the ACC lacks major victories this season.

“We evaluate every team individually, not by conference. When we look at the ACC’s nonconference results, there just aren’t many standout wins besides Miami’s victory over Notre Dame,” Rhoades explained.
