Georgia Tech defensive end Tyler Stargel has a year of eligibility remaining, but he has decided to conclude his career Saturday against Georgia.
The redshirt junior from Orange Beach, Ala., has played in 34 out of a possible 38 games in three seasons, starting two games last season. He has played mostly in a special-teams capacity. He came back this season from tearing ligaments in his ankle last season, which required him to miss spring practice. He said he is still not completely recovered and doubts he ever will be.
