After demolishing South Carolina on Monday night, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets had to head across country for an NIT Quarterfinal matchup against the San Diego State Aztecs.
In a game where it never looked like they had much left in the tank due to that trip, the Jackets were completely outplayed in a 72-56 loss to the Aztecs on Wednesday night.
Despite being tied at 31-apiece going into the half, Tech was unable to bring the energy in the second half and managed only 25 points, compared to 41 from San Diego State.
