It wasn’t even the prettiest of performances, but Georgia Tech (7-7, 1-1 ACC) still did enough to take down a highly ranked Miami team at home in Atlanta. It was just what a limping Tech squad needed to bounce back to .500 in Atlantic Coast Conference play.
Sophomore guard Josh Okogie had himself a night back home at McCamish Pavilion, posting 30 points and nine rebounds for the Jackets. He also had three steals, a block and an assist in the win.
The Jackets and Hurricanes went into the half all tied up at 28-28 in what was a streaky shooting game for both teams.
