The Jackets started strong Saturday afternoon and never looked back. Tech jumped out to a 30 point lead at halftime due to a combination of their best offensive performance in a half this season combined with their best defensive performance in a half this season. A 48-18 halftime score had turned into an 87-60 score when the clock hit all zeros and the Jackets moved to 11-8 on the season and 7-6 in ACC play. The 27 point win was the largest margin of victory in an ACC road win in school history.
Michael Devoe had arguably his best game of the season, scoring 29 points on 11-16 shooting, including a career high 7 three pointers.
