Despite having four scorers in double-digits, the Georgia Tech men’s basketball team dropped their second-straight game on Saturday, losing to the 15th ranked North Carolina Tar Heels 80-66.
Josh Okogie bounced back after his eight-point performance against Virginia, scoring 18-points while freshman point guard Jose Alvarado dropped 17 of his own. As a team, the Jackets shot 48% from the field making 29 of 60 shots while shooting 27.8% from three-point range. Both numbers were better than the Tar Heel percentages of 42% and 23.8%
The Jackets did not lose, to say the least, because of their offensive performance.
