Josh Okogie has found his new home on Thursday night as he was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 20th overall pick on Thursday night in the 2018 NBA Draft.
A former three-star prospect out of Snellville, Georgia, Okogie committed to the Yellow Jackets over Kansas State and Tennessee in 2015. Once Okogie arrived on campus, he immediately started outliving his three-star rating and was dynamite for a rebuilding Tech program.
Under Josh Pastner, Okogie was the Jackets premier scoring option and was one of the best scorers in the ACC. During his freshman season, Okogie averaged 16.
