After Georgia Tech’s 27 point win over Miami, the Jackets kept the momentum going Tuesday night, with a 69-53 victory over #16 ranked Virginia Tech.
The game started slow, with the Jackets not picking up their first points until a Moses Wright three at the 15:38 mark. Things did not pick up much from there, with both teams clawing towards a 24-24 halftime score. The second half got off to a much quicker start. Mike Devoe started the scoring with a corner three-pointer just 12 seconds into the half. That basket was the start of a 17-4 run to open the second half which led to a 13 point Georgia Tech lead.
