The Georgia Tech men’s basketball team on Saturday fell on the road to the Pittsburgh Panthers. The Jackets as a team shot well against the Panthers but fell into old bad habits of turnovers and fouls that eventually led them to a 73-64 loss.
It wasn’t all bad on Saturday for the Yellow Jackets as they were able to get quality efforts out of a pair of key players. That being said, the Jackets didn’t have their usual strong effort from junior guard Jose Alvarado who had just nine points in the contest. Alvarado prior to Saturday was averaging nearly 20-points per game over his last five.
