The Georgia Tech basketball team officially added a new member on Wednesday afternoon. Shooting guard recruit Curtis Haywood II signed his letter of intent, becoming the first member of the 2017 class to do so.
Haywood II originally committed to the Yellow Jackets last year on December 22nd. Originally from Mustang, Oklahoma, Haywood II has been playing basketball for Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
Standing at 6-foot-4 and 187-pounds, Haywood has the size to be a versatile player for the Yellow Jackets being able to shoot from the outside as well as down low.
Haywood will most likely redshirt in the upcoming season but could see some time off the bench if he impresses the coaching staff.
