The Bulldogs are definitely not a push over, if the Jackets want to come away with a win, they’ll have to slow down true freshman Anthony Edwards who is averaging 19.7 PPG in just under 3 games. The Bulldogs also proved last game, beating Delaware State 100-66, that their offensive production can be produced down low as well. Rayshaun Hammonds and Amanze Ngumezi combined for 42 points in that blowout home victory. Hammonds is quietly entering the game averaging a double-double with 14.3 PPG and 11.7 RPG.
The Jackets will look to stop rising star Edwards first, but they do not need to take their eyes off the likes of inside players such as Hammonds and Ngumezi.
