Georgia Tech (6-6) got a much needed win versus Coppin State out of the MEAC, using a strong second half push to prevail 76-62.
The Jackets actually trailed 33-30 at the halfway point, but came on strong down the stretch. That clutch effort included a huge night from big man Ben Lammers, who put up 22 points, snagged 11 rebounds and had six blocks.
Coppin State had three players in double digits and saw all but one of its ten players score. Tech, on the other hand, suited only eight players and all of them scored.
