In another close game between Notre Dame and Georgia Tech, the Yellow Jackets came up short in a valiant effort against the 21st ranked Fighting Irish. In the end, Tadric Jackson’s 14-points in the final six minutes weren’t enough in the heartbreaking 64-60 loss.
For the Yellow Jackets, potential ACC Player of the Year Bonzie Colson and gritty junior guard Matt Farrell were too much to contain. Combined, the two Fightin Irish stars scored half of Notre Dame’s 64 points.
It was Farrell for Notre Dame who hit a breathtaking shot from behind the basket with the shot clock expiring that gave the Irish a late six-point lead.
