The 23rd ranked Georgia Tech baseball team dropped its’ ACC opener on Friday against Miami 10-8. It drops the Yellow Jackets record to 9-3 on the season.
For the first time in his short career, Georgia Tech starting pitcher Xavion Curry struggled giving up five earned runs (eight total) over four innings of work. The true freshman ace for the Yellow Jackets also picked up his first loss of the season, moving his record to 3-1 on the season.
Outfielder James Davison started the Hurricanes off with a leadoff triple in the first inning on Friday, and the Hurricanes wouldn’t look back from there.
