The 17th Georgia Tech baseball team defeated the Belmont Bruins 12-3 to open their weekend series.
The bats were alive for the Georgia Tech baseball team once again on Friday afternoon, as the Jackets scored 12 runs on 12 hits. The 12-3 victory over Belmont improved Georgia Tech’s record to 8-1 on the season.
Xavion Curry tossed a gem on Friday, pitching six shutout innings. Throughout his six innings of work, Curry struck out seven Bruins while allowing just one hit and two walks. The true freshman is now 3-0 on the season with a 1.
