The Jackets would fire out of the gates early scoring three runs in the second inning of Saturday’s matchup against North Carolina. Tristin English tripled and Collin Hall followed with a double. Austin Wilhite would put one up the middle for a single to score Hall from second. Nick Wilhite would follow with another single to put runners at the corners with two outs. A wild pitch would score Austin Wilhite from third and the jackets would finish with three runs in the inning.
The third inning extended the lead to 6-2 after 3, following two doubles and a few errors from the UNC defense.
