Xzavion Curry in 2017 was the first freshman at Georgia Tech to make an opening day start for the Jackets since 1995 and in 2016, Curry once again got the nod, being the Yellow Jacket’s Friday night starter for the second straight season.
Curry will look to get his third-straight opening day start this season when the Yellow Jackets take on the University of Illinois at Chicago. That being said, he’ll look to improve on his sophomore stat totals which saw him put together a stronger season than his freshman year but also left a lot of room for improvement.
