Left hander Connor Thomas and catcher Kyle McCann were two of Georgia Tech’s leaders on and off the field in 2019. On Thursday, the two stars were recognized for their contributions to the Yellow Jackets success this season en route to the program being the third overall seed heading into the NCAA Tournament.
College Baseball Newspaper released their All-American teams on Thursday afternoon and had selected both Thomas and McCann as second-team All-Americans.
Thomas this season for the Yellow Jackets was their best starting pitcher from start to finish. Thomas started 15 games for the Yellow Jackets this season and went 9-1 in those 15 starts including a perfect 7-0 in conference play.
