Georgia Tech Baseball: Jackets take down Georgia State on Tuesday night

The Georgia Tech baseball team got themselves back into the win column on Tuesday evening against the Georgia State Panthers. The Jackets took down the Panthers 7-3 behind a quality start from freshman Cort Roedig.

Roedig pitched four innings for the Jackets, allowing one run on three hits and a walk. He also struck out one in the process. Roedig’s ERA dropped from 6.75 to 3.37 following his start as he picked up his first collegiate win. Tanner English and Keyton Gibson were the relievers on Monday, combining for five innings pitched, allowing two earned runs on five hits and one walk.
