The Georgia Tech baseball team is coming off a solid opening weekend performance, taking two of three against University of Illinois-Chicago (W), Richmond (L), and West Virginia (W), on Tuesday, they’ll look for their third win of the season. The Jackets on Tuesday will make the three-hour trip down to Statesboro on Tuesday to take on the Georgia Southern Eagles.
The Eagles are 1-2 after their opening weekend series against No.20 Auburn. The Eagles were clobbered in the season opener 11-2 but bounced back for a strong 7-5 victory on Saturday before losing in extra innings on Sunday.
