Georgia Tech Baseball: Jackets drop second-straight to Irish 4-3

Georgia Tech (16-13,4-10 ACC) dropped their second-straight game to Notre Dame (12-17,6-8 ACC) Saturday in a 4-3 loss in South Bend.

After also losing Friday by the same score, the Yellow Jackets again couldn’t get over the hump against the Fighting Irish on Saturday afternoon.

The Irish got all they would need to win in the bottom of the second inning, getting four runs on two hits off starter Jay Shadday. The freshman from Rome, Georgia went six innings, giving up four runs on six hits. Shadday struck out three and walked five batters.
