Georgia Tech Baseball: Jackets drop game two against Pittsburgh 4-3 in 14 innings

Georgia Tech baseball‘s game two against Pittsburgh was a marathon to say the least, the matchup took 14 innings to complete and for the Jackets it resulted in a 4-3 loss.

The Yellow Jackets entered Saturday looking to clinch another series win as Connor Thomas took the mound. Thomas had a strong start pitching 7.1 innings giving up just two runs on six hits and one walk. He also struck out nine Panthers in the process.

In relief of Thomas the Jackets bullpen allowed just two runs over 6.2 innings pitched with Jared Datoc allowing a run in the seventh and Jonathan Hughes giving up the game-winning run.
