The first game of two between Georgia Tech and Georgia this season did not go the Yellow Jackets way on Wednesday night. Rescheduled from Tuesday night after inclement weather caused a postponement, the Jackets fell to the Bulldogs 8-3.
The 8-3 loss for the Yellow Jackets not only marked their fourth straight but their sixth loss in their last seven games. The rough stretch has dropped the Jackets record from a modest 22-12 just over a week ago to 22-20, leaving the Jackets in a hole that they will have a hard time climbing out of in terms of their postseason fate.
