Georgia Tech Baseball: Jackets Drop COFH Series to Georgia

After starting the season off 7-1 this season, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have stumbled this weekend against the top-5 ranked Georgia Bulldogs. On Friday night, the Yellow Jackets fought valiantly in a great game between the two in-state rivals but fell 6-5 in Athens.

On Saturday, the Yellow Jackets fell to the Bulldogs 12-0 at home after an eight-run ninth inning put the game out of reach for the Jackets.. Right hander Cort Roedig got the start on Saturday and pitched decent in his 4.2 innings pitched, allowing four runs (two earned). He did allow seven hits and two walks but the talented sophomore did strike out eight.
