Georgia Tech Baseball: Jackets complete sweep of Pittsburgh

Georgia Tech (24-21, 9-15 ACC) went into a three-game series with the Pitt Panthers Saturday at an even 21-21 on the year and with only six conference wins.

The Jackets swept visiting Pittsburgh to keep hope alive for a winning ACC record and a chance for better seeding in the upcoming conference tournament.

On Saturday, Tech’s bats were just enough to outlast the Panthers in an 8-7 win that saw a combined 26 hits.

Kel Johnson had a pair of RBI for Georgia Tech, while Trevor Craport, Joey Bart, Austin Wilhite and Ryan Peurifoy each had one apiece in game one.
