Georgia Tech Baseball: Duke uses late innings to top Yellow Jenkins

A 4-0 lead was not enough for Georgia Tech who fell to Duke by a final score of 12-5 on Saturday afternoon. The Duke bats scored just two runs in the first five innings before breaking out for five in the fifth and 10 total runs over the course of three innings.

Sophmore Keyton Gibson got the start for the Jackets and would pitch strong the first five innings. After allowing just two runs on three it in the first five innings, Gibson allowed five runs on three hits in the sixth. Gibson’s final line on the day would be 5.
