It looks as though the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will be down some depth in their backfield when they open the season in a few weeks. Head coach Paul Johnson reported that A-back Nate Cottrell has suffered what he called a “serious injury.”
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported the news Saturday evening. Right now, there is no specifications on what the injury may be, but Johnson did say that it was serious enough that he didn’t play in the team’s early-morning scrimmage on Saturday.
“He didn’t play (Saturday). It’s serious. I doubt he’ll play next Saturday, either.
