Riverwood defensive end Kyle Kennard was one of six defensive lineman to sign with Georgia Tech in the early signing period. While he likely won’t see early playing time, Kennard is certainly a high-upside prospect who could end up being a steal for the Yellow Jackets.
Kennard has a quality frame and legnth for a Power 5 defensive end at 6-foot-4 but at just 220-pounds, he will need to add some weight before he sees the field. Kennard does possess quality speed for a defensive end prospect with a 4.72 40-yard dash. IF Kennard can keep that speed while he adds weight, his upside grows even greater but that is a big if.
