After a bruising 30-22 loss to Notre Dame, the Jackets can find solace in knowing it is a long season. There are nine more regular season games to prove last Saturday was an anomaly. Still, the polls are reflecting the disappointing effort in South Bend.
Georgia Tech is 20th in both the AP Poll and the Coaches Poll for Week 4. Tech fell 6 spots in the former and 4 spots in the latter from the previous week. Notre Dame rose to sixth and eighth in the same respective polls, so depending on how well the Irish finish out this season, the loss may be more forgivable by the end of the season.
