With the bowl game complete and Georgia Tech’s 2016 football season officially concluded, redshirt freshman DL Trent Sellers announced on Wednesday that he’ll be moving on from the Flats.
Sellers was originally a member of the 2015 recruiting class out of Sandy Creek High School, committing relatively early in the cycle. He was unranked as a recruit going into his senior year of high school, but ended up with a three-star ranking by most services. After redshirting as a true freshman in 2015, Sellers hardly saw the field in 2016 — his only in-game action came against Vanderbilt, and he failed to record any stats.
