Tech beats Notre Dame while wearing blasphemous and not-Jake-approved black uniforms, so everyone thinks they’re great even though it’s an Athenian color. This win is the signature one coming against a team we have historically bad luck against in a year seemed destined to end football as we know it. And it is the start of something both nice and new.

One bold prediction is that Georgia Tech will be bowl-eligible this season. There might not be any bowls besides the CFP, but Tech will still get to six wins. There are enough winnable games on the schedule this year to get to that pinnacle in Geoff Collins’ second go-round as coach.
