Carolina Panthers WR Stephen Hill showing flashes in OTA’s

Stephen Hill was viewed as an athletic freak coming out of Georgia Tech, measuring in at 6-4 and weighting 215 pounds. His combine stats were also very impressive with his 40 time clocking in at 4.36 seconds. That is why the New York Jets selected him in the 2nd round of the 2012 NFL Draft. However, Hill was always extremely inconsistent and could not quite solidify his spot on the roster. He was released in August of 2014 and was a practice squad player for the Carolina Panthers in 2014.

For Hill OTA’s have been a chance to step up and shine for the Panthers with unquestioned number one receiver Kelvin Benjamin nursing a strained hamstring and second-round pick Devin Funchess in Los Angeles at the NFLPA Rookie Premiere, Hill has been making the most of his time.
