Georgia Tech head coach Brent Key did not hold back when asked if quarterback Haynes King should be in the Heisman Trophy conversation. With the 8-0 No. 8 Yellow Jackets pushing for both an ACC Championship Game berth and a spot in the 12-team College Football Playoff, Key believes his quarterback deserves a trip to New York.
“Find me somebody else that brings more value to the team, that is truly the epitome of what the team is rooted in,” Key said. “He can run, he can throw. I’m glad he’s on my team.
