This week has already seen a large number of college football games cancelled and postponed, and you can now add Georgia Tech to the list. In a surprising (well, maybe not too surprising) announcement on Thursday, the ACC moved this weekend’s contest against Pittsburgh to December 12.
The Panthers and Yellow Jackets are lucky, as the only reason this game was able to be moved instead of cancelled is because the ACC Championship game was officially scheduled for December 19, giving teams an extra week of flexibility. While definitely frustrating for the two squads, it is the right move as both of the teams are currently dealing with COVID issues.
