Boston College has picked its starting quarterback for Saturday’s game against Georgia Tech, but Eagles coach Steve Addazio said on Wednesday that he won’t reveal who it is.
He did say that only one, either Kentucky transfer Patrick Towles or Darius Wade.
“I’m just in a situation where I feel it’s best right now that we’re not naming our starter,” he said during the ACC coaches teleconference.

Towles passed for more than 5,000 yards in two-plus seasons with the Wildcats. Wade passed for 232 yards last season before suffering a season-ending ankle injury against Florida State.
