A report Thursday night suggested that Memphis Head Coach Josh Pastner was the main target of Georgia Tech's coaching search moving forward. That report was furthered this morning as reports on Twitter continued to corroborated. Friday morning, the 247Sports site covering Memphis tweeted the following:
Per a source, the deal for Josh Pastner to become the next head coach at Georgia Tech is done.

This is now at least the fourth coach that's been strongly connected to the job through internet rumors, following Duke assistant Jeff Capel (who will stay at Duke), Valparaiso head coach Bryce Drew (who has taken the job at Vanderbilt), and California head coach Cuonzo Martin (allegedly never actually a candidate).
