Friday afternoon, Josh Pastner and Georgia Tech picked up their third pledge in the 2016 class when PG Justin Moore committed to the Jackets. Moore, who had previously been committed to Tulane, chose the Jackets over Pacific.
At 6'3", Moore is ranked as a 3-star prospect by most recruiting services. Next year, he will have an opportunity for immediate playing time after the departure of Marcus Georges-Hunt. MGH played point guard for much of the season last year after Brian Gregory was unhappy with the production at the position from Josh Heath and Travis Jorgenson. Unless Pastner signs another point guard through grad transfer, Heath, Jorgenson, and Moore will be competing for minutes.
