Through the first three-quarters on Saturday, Clemson simply did not look the part of a second-ranked team. That being said, a bit of an emotional letdown following two huge games against ranked opponents is understandable.
That being said, Clemson pulled away in the fourth quarter pretty convincingly and were able to put away Boston College. The Tigers will have to wake up next week for Virginia Tech as they take on the Hokies in Blacksburg, at night.
Another week, another strong defensive showing for the Hokies. The Hokies took apart Old Dominion on Saturday but got off to a semi-slow start.
