Zully Douglass Named Head Coach for Cross Country/Distance

ATLANTA -- Zully Douglass has been named the head coach of the Georgia State women's cross country/distance program after three seasons as an assistant coach on the Panthers' staff.

Douglass originally joined the GSU program in July 2020 as the assistant coach for cross country and distance.

During her time on the staff, Georgia State cross country and distance runners have set school records and achieved numerous personal bests.

In 2021-22, Douglass worked with All-Sun Belt Conference cross country runners Marine Garnier and Emma Devis. Garnier earned all-conference honors in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track and won Sun Belt Conference titles in the 3000 meter steeplechase and the distance medley relay.
