ATLANTA- Georgia State’s women’s tennis coach Jason Marshall announced the signing of Romona Eva Chivu on Wednesday afternoon. The Romanian national has played in top tournaments throughout Europe.
"Eva is a very special individual who has overcome a lot in her young life, said coach Marshall. “With that being said, she will make an immediate, positive impact on our team and we could not be more excited. Her exemplary attitude and quiet confidence will help lead this program to success in the near future."
Chivu has participated in major tournaments throughout Europe. She has competed in the Czech Republic, France, Croatia, Slovakia, and Malta in the past three years.
