WILMINGTON, N.C. - Georgia State's women's basketball team fell 74-62 to UNCW Thursday in the team's final non-conference game.
Three Panthers finished in double figures led by Shay Fluker's 22 points. Fluker added nine rebounds and was a perfect 9-for-9 at the free throw line. Kierra Henry tallied double-digit points for the 10th straight game, finishing with 14. Madison Newby tallied 11 points and added five steals on defense.
The Panthers got off to a fast start and held a 24-13 advantage after the first period, but the Seahawks bounced back with a 25-9 second quarter to hold the lead at the break.
