ATLANTA - K.K. Williams led Georgia State to a 73-51 win over Shorter Friday night at the GSU Sports Arena. Williams scored a team-high 17 points in GSU's lone exhibition contest.
"It was great to get out there and compete against another team in a game day setting," new head coach Gene Hill said. "We did some things well, but as is common at this point in the season, there are several things we need to work on in practice this week to get better."
Georgia State used an 18-2 run in the first quarter to lead Shorter 29-15 after the first 10 minutes.
