In the final regular season Indoor Track and Field meet, Georgia State will take 24 members to the Chipotle Marshall Invitational in the Cline Athletic Complex in Huntington, W.Va.
This nine-team invitational on Friday and Saturday is the final event before the Panthers compete in the Sun Belt Championships Feb. 22-23 in Birmingham, Ala.
“This weekend is a final tune-up for some of our members and a chance to qualify for our travel team to the conference championships for some other team members,” head coach Chris England said. “We’ve never competed at Marshall before and this will give us some new competition as a challenge.
